Create an ultra-smooth, tangy whipped feta dip in under five minutes using just a food processor. This easy appetizer dip is perfect for parties and game days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, plus more for drizzling
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the crumbled feta cheese and softened cream cheese into the bowl of a food processor.
  2. Add the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, and minced garlic to the processor.
  3. Process the ingredients until the mixture is completely smooth and airy, scraping down the sides as needed. This usually takes 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Taste the dip and add black pepper as desired. If you prefer a tangier flavor, add a few more drops of lemon juice and pulse briefly.
  5. Transfer the whipped feta dip to a serving bowl. Drizzle with a little extra olive oil before serving.
  6. Serve immediately with pita chips, fresh vegetables, or crackers.

Notes

  • You can make this make ahead dip up to one day in advance. Cover and refrigerate, then let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before serving for the best texture.
  • For a different flavor, drizzle with honey instead of plain olive oil before serving.
  • This recipe is naturally gluten free.
