Make this easy, no-bake creamy bruschetta dip for your next gathering. It combines a rich cheese base with fresh tomato and basil topping for a crowd-pleasing appetizer that comes together fast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces Boursin cheese (or other herbed cheese), softened
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups chopped fresh Roma tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • For serving: Pita chips, crackers, or toasted baguette slices

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, Boursin cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix these ingredients until you have a smooth, uniform creamy base.
  2. Spread the cheese mixture evenly into the bottom of a serving dish. This forms the base layer for your dip.
  3. In a separate small bowl, combine the chopped fresh tomatoes, chopped basil, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and garlic powder. Gently toss the tomato mixture to coat everything evenly.
  4. Spoon the fresh tomato and basil mixture over the top of the cheese layer in the serving dish. Do not mix the layers.
  5. Cover the dish and chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve your creamy bruschetta dip cold or at room temperature with your choice of pita chips, crackers, or toasted baguette slices for dipping.

Notes

  • You can make the cheese base one day ahead and keep it covered in the refrigerator. Add the tomato topping just before serving for the freshest look.
  • If you do not have Boursin, substitute with 4 ounces of softened goat cheese mixed with 1 teaspoon of dried Italian seasoning.
  • For an extra layer of flavor, drizzle a small amount of high-quality balsamic glaze over the top just before serving.
