Make restaurant-style soft, fluffy breadsticks at home. This easy recipe uses simple ingredients and is topped with a rich garlic parmesan butter for maximum flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (13.8 ounces) refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the refrigerated pizza dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Do not let it rest.
  3. Use a pizza cutter or sharp knife to cut the dough into 12 even strips.
  4. Bake the dough strips for 10 to 12 minutes, or until they are lightly golden brown and cooked through.
  5. While the breadsticks bake, prepare the garlic butter topping. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, parsley, oregano, and salt. Mix well.
  6. Remove the baked breadsticks from the oven. Immediately brush the tops generously with the garlic butter mixture.
  7. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the buttered breadsticks while they are still warm.
  8. Serve the breadsticks warm as a dinner side dish or appetizer.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder to the garlic butter mixture.
  • If you prefer a chewier crust, bake the breadsticks for 1 minute less.
  • These breadsticks are excellent served with marinara sauce for dipping.
